Polyglot Interop

Call JavaScript from Python in Elide

Python programs can evaluate JavaScript through Elide’s built-in elide module:

from elide import js

values = js("[1, 2, 3, 4]")
print(sum(values))
elide python interop.py
10

The module also exports bind and poly decorators for publishing Python callables to shared bindings. Prefer the Python helpers for file-based programs; the interactive REPL has a broader language-switching surface.

See Python with Elide for runtime and package limits.
